Transmission System

A transmission system generally comprises of a clutch, a transmission, a universal driving device, a main reducing gear, a differential mechanism and a semiaxis. The transmission system is basically used to transmit the power produced by the engine to the driving wheel to produce driving power so as to ensure the vehicle drives at a certain speed. It has the functions of speed reducing, speed changing, vehicle reversing, discontinuing power transmission, speed differential between wheels and speed differential between axles. Working together with the engine, it can guarantee the vehicle drives normally in various conditions with good power performance and fuel economy.

According to the power transmission way, transmission systems can be divided into mechanical transmission systems, hydraulic transmission systems and electric transmission systems. According to the structure and the transmission medium, transmission systems have mechanical type, hydro-mechanical type, static-hydraulic type, and electric type.
